Maybe De Boer has agreed to work under a transfer committee and Klopp has not? Maybe FSG want to keep the structure in place, but without Brendan?

The club can easily get quotes off him for the website (when the club officially announced the signings), likewise journalists. They've all got his number. It's not just that though - normally after sacking senior members of staff there'd be a little statement on the website thanking them for their service etc. There's been nothing.

The cone pickers have not been replaced yet, when they are they'll probably be a nice "thank you to the outgoing and welcome to the incoming" type statement. But only the latter will feature with quotes!

Not massively surprisingly that we haven't heard from BR himself, but no club statement about Pascoe and Marsh is out of character, no?

It may well be an x - file like conspiracy to keep him out of the way so he doesn't blow the whistle or waffle over awkward questions

i was actually thinking of that myself yesterday..... just take up running or something and dont even watch footy...... would probably last until about 6pm on the first day of the season.....

i agree with that Shaggy......i was thinking the same thing. In reality everyone is on holiday but there was so much made of Brendans end of year review....the build up to that was like a game......then zilch....

What is very strange is that Pascos and Marsh have focked off and nobody has been appointed yet.

Perhaps there is something with his compo. Maybe it decreases vastly for every season closer to the end of his contract??? Maybe they need to start the new season (as in first day or pre-season) to give him the bullet and it saves something like a million or two in compo?? Maybe Pascoe and Marsh didnt have the same contractual protection.....

What it does show though is that all of these journos know sweet **** all. I reckon all transfer speculation is agent generated bull**** to help with contract negociations because nobody knows ****in anything about Brendans position....

Everyone seems to be pointing at Klopp because he is free and fits the FSG model. However, lets be totally honest, the FSG model hasn't exactly given us all a hard on has it? Obviously Markovic, Moreno, Emre Can, Origi, Ibe might all develop into £50m players and we are then cooking on gas - but for me i find the whole administration of the club has a big cost-cutting feel to the whole thing. The contract negotiations with Jordan Henderson was a perfect example of this. I would compare Henderson to Dirk Kuyt under Rafa - a good pro, a hard working player and perhaps undervalued in the team because better players take all the glory - but you miss him big time when he isn't there. A 7½ out of 10 pretty much every week. However, it shouldnt have taken long to get him signed. Not at all. Under Rafa / Parry that would have been done and dusted and then Parry could feck off and go concentrate on ****ing up another transfer..... The way the club is being run now, they seem to know the cost of everything but the value of nothing!!

I don't think this would happen, but i would love to see Ancelotti in place. With the proper support, then he would get us going places....

I've mentioned the same to mates recently, it all feels very unusual. A wall of silence as you say. It may well end up being nothing major but it's bizarre how the club seem to have decided to cut the fans completely out of the loop.

Hopefully we'll find out what's gone on one day anyway.
