Brendan's failing is wasting the Suarez money. If we spend our money better then we would be title winners. For me he is still the right coach for the team, he will fightback and lift us again. He deserves more time. Changing coach now would be a mistake unless.
Only Jurgen Klopp could be a worthwhile alternative. Lets wait and see if we can successfully sell and replace Balotelli, Borini and Lambert

Just done a quick calculation; over the last 15 matches Liverpool have got more points in the league than every other team in the EPL apart from Arsenal (who have 3 more). Yes it was disappointing to go out of the Cup in the way we did and the performances against ManUre and Arsenal were not great but, bearing in mind Arsenal are thought to be the 'form team' and we are supposed to be doing so badly that we need to sack our manager, these statistics can't be right. But they are, so maybe those wanting BR out are over-reacting.
After last season this one promised much but has been fatally destroyed by Suarez leaving, Sturridge's injuries, Gerrard's total loss of form, and the inability of any of our new players to hit the ground running. How much of that was BR's fault? The club thought they had a replacement for Suarez in the bag and they thought they had a Plan B in place. Is it his fault a Plan C was needed but wasn't there? We bought a mixture of experienced EPL players (Lallana, Lovren, Lambert and Balotelli) and newbies (Can, Markovic, Moreno, Manquillo) so enough of our players WOULD hit the ground running. Is it BR's fault everyone started really badly?
I agree Lovren just does not look like the player BR talked up last season, but frankly every club in the top 8 has spent big on at least one player who has then failed to deliver. Why single BR out for this?
I think we all know that Mario was bought because there was a need and they could not find a good fit, so they gambled. I think they did this with their eyes open. If it had come off we would have been delighted. Is that really a reason to sack BR?
I want my team to win leagues and cups and to be in the Champions league just like those criticising BR. I will never be happy with us as also rans. But we need also to be fair in our assessments.
And just remember. When we have played badly or lost an important game, the way we feel that day and for the next few days is how Everton fans must feel all the time.

Performances haven't been great all season though & thats the big issue - a lot of the luck went our way over the past 15 games (Southampton Swansea etc) which have papered over the cracks
Agree with the rest thoughWhat do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

That's Brendan's job. He's supposed to sign strikers and plan for the season and manage the players.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostIn other words, just imagine where we'd be if we had landed Sanchez, or Sturridge had been fit and a few more players had clicked. I reckon we'd easily be in the top 3.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

So we put all our eggs in the Sanchez basket & didn't have a plan B so ended up with last minute plan Z in Balotelli - ridiculousOriginally posted by RichC View PostSanchez didn't want to come and the Sturridge issues I'm not sure what could have been done. Which is why I said we dropped the ball in the Summer. Left with Balotelli after not securing who we wanted to come in.Originally posted by Yozza View PostSo we put all our eggs in the Sanchez basket & didn't have a plan B so ended up with last minute plan Z in Balotelli - ridiculous
Hopefully we don't make the same mistake but until we've done our business this Summer we wont know.
