Kenny won the league cup and lost the FA Cup Final and still got sacked. Rodgers signings have been very poor, I think he's gone this summer as both Klopp and Rafa (and possibly De Boer) are available. Whether or not we could get Klopp or De Boer is another matter but in 12 months time all 3 will most probably be unavailable.

I think FSG will see them as an improvement and get them if they can.

Ayre spoke if us needing to sign the Suarez of Groningen, that was those players last summer, not now.

If available for the right price we'll be in for them. Suarez when sold was worth €75M if we payed €25-30M and they left a few years on for the Suarez type of money it would still fit the quote.

Ayre can have his team look for those types in other positions, this summer we need a proven goal scorer at the highest level we can get. If we can find a top class striker who will join us for £20m - £25m we have to nail that deal and bite the bullet cost wise. Even if we are paying above the reasonable price, just do the deal.

Same could be said of the DM position. Two massively crucial areas we need to get proven quality in. And those types aren't going to be 18 years old playing in the backwaters of Europe.

I understand where you're coming from, but give Rodgers free reign? **** that - by all accounts the Southampton turds were his idea, add to that Allen etc etc.

IMO both Rodgers and the committee need to be shown the door.
