In your opinion, you can't know what would attract players to us. You might not want to join in you were a pro footballer but some will still want to come in.

Down to the management team to sell the club, it's ambition and the plans for the future.

All premiership teams can attract players, and some top ones too. There's no way we could sign a top top player at the merment though

Hmmm. Apparently if We lose at QPR BR will have the same points total as Roy after the same amout of games. He needs a point to be doing better.

              Why not?

Ath Madrid Attracted Falcao and Augero and they have hardly ever been a top club in Spain. Where there is a will there is a way.

Stoke was always going to be a tough game for us but yet again individual errors are what have cost us and on top of that then not being able to deal with a physical side - sort of reminds me of the problems we endured against Wimbledon pretty much throughout the 90's.

BR really has to get any jan transfers right and get the team adapted to what we have available in the squad, this was always going to take time but he does need to have shown progress by the end of the season, if he does that he's done ok IMO

Big season regardless next season (how many times have i said this)though

I think a lot of people are overeacting. Massively in the case of El Matador.
                  Are we winning?

Squad is lacking and too many individual errors at the moment. We aren't a million miles off but we need reinforcements and to cut out the daft errors.

Any new manager will take time to get consistency in results. That's what we lack. Patience is key now. Give the man 3 years. Will be really pissed off if we're starting all over again. It's not as if we've been winning titles lately. We've been like this for decades.

I like Rodgers, but his inexperience added to a bull**** transfer policy is not a good combination. He needs proven quality now, not kids.

The club is suffering from inexperience all round - the team, the manager, the owners, the board... Ayre. Increasingly worrying combination.

Also I've seen a fair bit about us not coping with Stokes physical side too and I don't buy it.We didnt put it up to them because we haven't put it up to any team since Rodgers came in.With the Exception of Man City at Anfield we give every team we play time and space to to do what they like to us.When we get it back and they hassle us its panic stations yet we continue to try and knock it around.

No pressing on the ball is a big problem and its strange because I've seen BR refer to how important it is to work hard to get the ball back when you don't have it and then when you win possession "rest with the ball" as he puts it.

We never see it and we won't win against the good sides without it.

You have win the battle before you can play your pretty stuff and we don't even turn up at the battleground more often then not.

These quotes from Rodgers a good few weeks back encourage me greatly:

But there is no doubt that we want to bring in goals and we want to bring in players who can assist in scoring goals. If we can do that then that will set us up and then we can really reinforce again when the market opens up in the summer

All our problems were never going to be solved in this window because the January window is one of the least productive and the least movement goes on there. But we will look to solve some of our problems in there and then we will look to revisit it in the summer, knowing that in the summer we will be in a much better place than we were the previous summer.”
What is he referring to here? Money? An increased budget without the restraints of compensation deals for sacked and newly recruited staff? A chance that we could actually overhaul what he perceives as deadwood i.e. Downing, Carroll, Henderson, Doni, Cole, Spearing, Carragher possibly retiring thus higher wages available.

Physical sides have always been a problem for us maybe the 2nd finish apart under Rafa I can't remember when we haven't struggled against this type of football

Pressing has been a problem lately because some players are knackered. We have pressed well in some games, less in others. Again consistency.
