He threw me with his innovative patter saying he uses "state-of-the-art technology". If he is using coloured Post It notes, he's a while off catching up with Fat Sam. That's the worry.

      yet another one.

if we carry on like this we will need scouts for scouts

If he worked for Man City then it would be a Mac.

              Here we go...
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Exactly I find it funny. He's doing well not to burn any bridges which is credit to the man but he may as well say "It's up to Gylfi to choose but he is blatantly gonna turn my old club down "

Not surprised we got man City scouts. They don't really need them do they? All they have to do is buy Football Manager 2012, sort by cost and dispatch a Sheikh to go buy.

i see why it might make sense for the owners. when city drop the hammer in the transfer market with a huge fee, they normally at least fet someone who can pretend to be worth the money.

                          this.

omg, i just saw an image of Rodgers in the 'Rodgers on Tiki Taka football' thread, and i realised i hadn't seen any footage or images of him going about his LFC business for a while since the euros started, but now i have seen an image of him...i feel all confident again about the coming season.

He's subscribed to an outdated, ponderous, slow moving, tactic that has been usurped by solid defending from two rigid banks of four. He's a dinosaur.

Sack him and get a real visionary in who knows how to set up his teams to play in this way.

Or, he proved early on in his career that he was willing to look to the future of how football is best played, and will do so again ?
