Thanjk you.

I hate to say this but he's the one who's spunked millions on players who aren't playing. £17m Sakho, £15m Allen, £11m Borini, £7m Aspas, £7m Alberto. £57m right there.
Rodgers needs to shoulder much of the blame for yesterday, there was no balance in defence, the midfield was generally poor, while it is all well and good playing with two wingers (who were both terrible on the day) but if your sole striker is one that does his own thing and likes to drop deep there's little point in playing the both of them - they had no-one in the middle to aim for.
A back four of Johnson - Toure - Skrtel - Flanagan.
He's still learning the job. Fourth place - can't complain about that. A couple of bad results. We should have beaten Hull, we have to get things back on track on Wednesday. I still have some reservations about Rodgers, but generally we're playing positive football and there have been improvements.
Let's not get all to doom'n'gloom when we are fourth after 13 games, 3 points of second (and ninth I know) - it would for most parts have been a great start to the season. We have perhaps gotten a bit to expective of what this team can do because of the great season start.
The team still have some weaknesses that needs to be adressed and it seems like the style of play still needs some work. I miss having the same defensive pairing for 5-6-7 matches to get some stability there, but seems hard when our fullbacks keep getting injured and the CB seems almost to competitive right now.
Overall though, we are playing some positive football and have gotten some good result in the calendar year 2013. Still one of the best teams in the PL through the year. We are in a slight slump right now and need to get back on track, and I'm sure we will be soon enough.
Not panicing yet, still plenty more positives than negatives, but we need to start defending properly again.
Rodgers is from the mourinho school of management in that hes very good at deflecting blame onto others.
The money has been spent, if its been spent badly hes part of the process. The money for sakho, illori, aspas, albero completely wasted. Joe Allen Fabio borini etc... All have brought little or nothing to our team.

Worst thing is he doesn't even pick them.
I like Rodgers but this situation can't continue for me. He can't continue to play Toure and Skrtel and leave Sakho benched when we're leaking goals everywhere. It's piss poor on his part

Sorry Darkon, I'm not normally pedantic. But that's just wrong.
Are you calling us all unreasonable expectationalists?
Well, that's perhaps a bit harsh way to interpret what I wrote, I rather meant that we, or at least a lot of us(myself included) have perhaps raised our expectation a bit much compared to what we thought at the start of the season because of the start. And a result like Hull, doesn't really fundamentally rock the foundation of the first 1/3 of the season, where we so far are on par with the goal of the season.
Just saying, that we are bound to lose games, we have been a mid table team for 3 seasons now and it's a bit unrealistic that we should have improved so much as to be better placed than we are now.

I can understand that. But there are concerns over how we defend and some of the team selections though
The defending in the past couple of games have been very poor and needs to start improving again.
It is beyond comical really. It's like someone has chucked a grenade into the box and they all just jump around like dickheads, falling over themselves to get rid of it
Seriously, when they scored their third goal, before it even hit the net, I switched the TV off and shouted 'What the **** was that'. I couldn't even bring myself to watch a replay of it
This is Anfield were reporting prior to the Hull game that Rodgers will about to be offered a 5 year contract (based on Echo & cough Daily Star cough).
I agree, same thing is now happening to Southampton too. For all their team pressing and working as one unit they are now being picked off. Seems like a lot of managers need to get the hairdryers out before xmas.
If we beat Norwich and West Ham, both at home, we could conceivably be 2nd again should other results go our way. Fail to pick up 6 points due to Rodgers' "blind spots" then he will be solely to blame.

Ridiculous. Not sure why any club would do so half way through a season. Am still not convinced by him. Hope he proves me wrong, but I fear we'll be regretting any new contract offer once we see where we are in the PL on 1st Jan. maybe we'll do better against Chelsea, Spurs and City (all away) than I think, but the midfield and defence isn't good enough by a long stretch, and Suarez and Sturridge can't be expected to continuously bail us out.
