Rodgers is pretty well liked outside of Liverpool fans. Most of the people I know think he is a good manager and a nice bloke, if a little bit David Brent at times.

All of this going on Talk Sport is to get people on side and have less pressure on him from the Media.

Look at Harry Redknapp. The media love him, and when he got QPR relegated the other year not a peep was spoken in the mainstream press about him getting the heave ho. That sort of thing must be helpful to someone trying to maintain their position.

Likewise if more people like Liverpool, the more exposure we will get on this outlets.

I caught a little of the interview on Talksport.

Thought Rodgers was good value.

Especially liked his response when Brazil questioned him about Pepe Mel's lack of English.

Rodgers - Yeah, Swansea played them in a pre-season game a few years back. I had a good chat with Pepe after the game. He came across well.

Id love to see a video of Rodgers speaking Spanish if there is one out there? He did a few press conferences in different languages last season for the Europa League if I recall. But I could never find any.

I didn't like him going on there at first. They are a bunch of bellends after all. But now I think things like this are helping the public image of the club no end. We're really winning the media battle at the moment, after years of pissing them off under Rafa and Kenny. I think that will be to our advantage in the end. Less pressure for us to have to deal with.
