All of his comments about we will just play our game, no plan b etc may be nice soundbites, but in reality its a bit daft and somewhat worrying

He means he wants his team to play a certain way and perfect that way of playing . Dont think there is much wrong with that. Obviously game management needs to improve but I believe he refers more to sticking a big man up front and launching long balls to him, which he doesnt believe in

The champions league will be exciting, I was fairly confident we would tear it up a week ago. Be interesting to see how he takes to it.

Even if we finish second or third I'll post that again and be proud of it.

Why? I love the fact he has a clear progressive idea about the football he wants us to play & has the confidence & kahunas to see it through. It's also something that will develop as he learns on the job

Just think back to the last few months under Kenny when you couldn't tell if we had a plan A, B or C
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

                        F*** off!!!

I get why but I cant be (at the moment), seeing the blue and white ribbons every match of the day, Kompany lifting it on every sky ad break for 12 months thinking ****

Well part of his idea is being flexible in how we set up so why rigid comments about not changing, if he can see something wrong he should be managing the situation to improve it in our favor surely and if something isn't working try something else he's done it in our subs when were thinking wtf though, so how much of it is soundbites I dont know.

The one thing I am dreading if we don't win it will be the constant harking back to Gerrard's slip in years to come. You just know it'll be on those talking head football nostalgia shows.

Brendan has been massively flexible in his tactical approach all season, there have been so many ways that the team has won matches. They are what they are, soundbites. He has to say something without giving too much away.
