    Mignolet
    Manquillo Toure Sakho Moreno
    Can Lucas Henderson
    Sterling Lallana
    Balotelli

That’s the team I wanted today.

Coutinho will just never be consistent enough for us IMO. Will have the odd great game, but generally he tends to drift out of games and lacks concentration, giving the ball away too often.

That's well documented. And true. He didn't want Sturridge, twice. Thank God for the Man City scouts that came but have subsequently left again.

Taking player purchase out of Rodgers' sole control is probably not a bad idea but don't effing put a Levy-esque committee in his place.

            Coutinho doesn't do a thing.
In it's simplest terms football is about stopping goals, scoring goals and creating goals.

Does he help stop them? No
Does he score them? No, should score much more for the amount of shots he has.
Does he create them? Last year he did but this year nothing, gives the ball away far too much

              Rodgers to stay at Liverpool

"Brendan Rodgers's position at Liverpool is not under immediate threat despite the club's poor start to the season.

"It is understood that Tom Werner and John W Henry, the co-owners, remain behind their manager although Liverpool have declined to comment.

"Rodgers was voted LMA manager of the year in May after guiding Liverpool to a second placed-finish in the Premier League. The club's targets for this season were to finish in the top four and qualify from their Champions League group."

Former Liverpool defender Gary Gillespie has been having his say on Liverpool's plight on Radio 5 live.

"I think there is a total lack of confidence," he said. "The way Liverpool want to play, nice crisp, sharp passing, they are just taking too many touches in the middle of the park. The defence is weak at times and they are getting over exposed."

But he doesn't believe centre-back Dejan Lovren should be dropped. "I quite like Lovren, he's going through a sticky spell, but I think he'll come good," Gillespie said.

TBF to Coutinho the forwards available and the tactics are hindering him in a way. If we could wriggle the ****ing ball from Gerrard and the CB's once in a while maybe something could happen.

Do you mean Fallows and Hunter? Cos they're still here. Other scouts have been sacked but the main blokes are still with us.

No mate. Agger has been injured since he left for Brøndby. It's one of the few things they got right in that window.

That implies that if results don't pick up he's out of here IMO.

Seen him play for Brazil recently? Struts around like an absolute boss threading balls through and putting them on a plate for Neymar. It's not rocket surgery......have a few lads capable of clever movement up front and Coutinho will find you. Sure he's been pants this season but he's the least of our worries IMO.

The lack of movement in the side at the moment is criminal - get that going again and we'll see the best of him and also Sterling.

Not seen him there no, but I can believe that.

I just can't believe how much Rodgers is wasting talent and resources to accomodate his favourites and preferered tactics. I am 100% certain that there are managers out there who could put together a good attacking lineup using a pool of Sterling - Coutinho - Markovic - Lallana - Borini - Balotelli - Gerrard. These are good players but the manager is failing them IMO. (Balotelli is a grey area I'll give you that).

That lack of movement is down to Rodgers and Gerrard IMO.
