I bet he wouldn't have said what he did to RoboKops face otherwise he'd have it knocked off.

Too ****ing right he wouldn't, he'd have taken a nasty punch to the groin

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

                Merry Christmas to all!

You're right, the lack of real football men with experience and most worryingly common sense on our coaching staff and behind the scenes has and will continue to cost us dear.

You have to be utterly ignorant not to see it, just look at this **** hole of a season! if people at the club had their heads screwed on in the summer we would be coasting top 4 even with Rodgers inability to build anything close to a solid defence.

It's been the same for years but we never learn.

Does Brendan Rodgers have a good eye for players - probably not. Borini and Allen haven't added a lot to us and then there's the new recruits. Of all the players we bought only Lambert, lallana and lovren were players he wanted - the rest were committee signings.

Lovren is probably the perfect example where Rodgers wants a player who then isn't suited to what were doing. Southampton played a little deeper and countered well, lovren was screeened brilliantly by his midfield and wasn't asked to defend 1v1.

He comes to us and we ask him to do things he didn't do at Southampton and wonder why hes struggling. If we are going to keep pushing fullbacks high up the pitch and play further up the park, our central defenders have to be comfortable outside, in one on one situations and be cool under pressure. The way we play badly exposes our centre backs and unless theyre of a certain type they will struggle.

Is dejan lovren suited to our style of play - probably not, but this should have been sorted out much earlier in the scouting etc... As it stands he cant play in the team so that's £20m not being used.

Its unusual but I dont think he should have too much say in transfers given his eye for a player is terrible.

Who's on the transfer committee ? From my understadning its Brendan, Dave Fallows, Michael Edwards and Ian Ayre I'm not entirely sure how you can then say one player is BR and anotheris is the committee where he's clearly (check Paul Tomkins) part of the committee surely therefore the signings both successes and failures are all down to the committee.

Reading through your post your made leaps of faith/judgement and tried to base it on fact whereas it's clearly as subjective POV from yourself rather than based on any factual evidence to prove the point.

I think the committee would work better with only one Dave Fallows on it.

Not saying it's fact but Barrett said Lovren, Lambert and Lallana were players Rodgers wanted and the other signings last summer were what the other members of the committee wanted.

Wouldn't there still need to be an agreement within the committee? Essentially what I'm saying is you judge the committee as a whole not pick and chose which parts of it you think work or doesn't the success or failure should be judged as a whole

True but it doesn't help if he's been asked to pick from a list of players which is different to the list of players he originally wanted on there. James Pearce alluded to this a couple of weeks ago
