****ing annoying, total horse **** that is from Rodgers. Do people think he's perhaps having a cryptic pop at International fixtures, namely friendliness friendlies?

Considering we still have to play all the big teams one more time that's a little ambitious.

We may get 11 or 12 wins so long as Rodgers doesn't go back to his old habits of picking poor formations, poorly performing players and rubbish tactics

He is making a grand effort at turning this around. I thought he was done, no way back. But he's doing great. The SWAG is coming back and we're fun to watch again (barring Burnley). We need to blow Leicester away now. Well done Brendan
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

No. He's making a valid point. In fairness, all the top clubs have the same issues so it's a ridiculous excuse. But it's his little way of trying to take pressure of the players. I can't see why people complain when he's saying it to benefit the club.

His grin when Lallana made is a 3-1 made me smile. If he can finally get the best out of our summer signings then he deserves alot of credit because I think maybe even the media made him doubt some of the buys.

Our team today was so refreshing - Sakho, Moreno, Can, Manquillo, Lallana.

Markovic will come back in against Leicester and I think he will raise his game again.

I know United away was a shocking result, but that was a turning point for me. Prior to that we'd seen dire football that Rodgers had suggested was necessary to steady the ship and get results. In a way, I guess it did. One defeat in 10 or whatever includes pre Mancs. But to me is was crazy by Rodgers to pin his hopes on us being solid and in the end it cost us dear v Basel.

After Basle I think he'd just had enough. He knew that wasn't acceptable. But let's give him huge credit. He was really up against it, but he mad some huge calls against United and whilst we got heavily beat, he kept his nerve and it's slowly starting to pay off. He's a brave coach and they're the ones that normally end up winners.

I said we needed to get Sturridge back and still be in contention for 4th. I was worried that was slipping away tbh, but we've pulled it out the fire. I'm really looking forwards to the second half of the season now.

I said before the United game that I couldn't give a **** if we lost as long as he gave us an attacking team that had a go and showed potential. Just wish he had done it a week earlier

                        Agreed.

I guess because we were leaking goals and not creating, he thought I'll shut up shop and hope to sneak into the next round of the CL. Massive error. But I think he'll learn from it if given the chance to do so.

If he keeps this up then I'm going to look like an almighty tit for wanting him sacked. Football is a fickle game!

It's not like anyone was against him turning it around, it's just that many couldn't see it happening. Still want a few more wins before we can safely say it was bad form (rather than the norm) for me.

I don't think it was either bad form or the norm, I think he was struggling to find the right tactics and combination of players with his Plan A gone.

But I agree it needs to carry on a bit longer before we can says he's found his way.

If he does though hopefully this means he now has the experience to get through the next bad patch without the prolonged agony.

Yep, Man Utd was the turning point I was starting to feel numb to it all and got myself in a state of indifference and apathy until that game we actually saw some signs the Liverpool of last season. Rodgers deserves credit because he got there in the end hahahaha, and some people have said some really rotten things about him aftetlr the first sign of a bad patch. Just hope its not too late to challenge for 4th spot because he's a good feppa and I'd miss him
