i was one of the first ones to call for him to go but if he does get relieved of his duties that is the easy decision to make. the harder one is who to bring in midway through a season to see us home.

jurgen klopp will not leave borussia dortmund in november to take up a role with us, no manager will. we might have to sit tight until the summer and maybe by then daniel sturridges return will have changed our fortunes.

Rodgers clearly is to blame for pleanty but if we get another manager and another 5 year plan its just another cluster****.

Look at Southampton they have now had 3 managers come in and every time the doom mongers predicted relegation yet they have become stronger....Why?

Becuase the Backroom staff, the club and everyone have the same philosophy down there....We need a vision of our own from FSG they just seem to be putting way to much faith in the managers blueprints.

I had no idea rodgers didnt want Coutinho or sturridge. That explains all the signings hes gotten that he frothed over and tried hard to get, all of which are pretty much hopeless. I'm starting to think he doesnt know the transfer market at all. I'm more worried players like Coutinho will get attracted by another team and leave since Liverpool is a super not happy place to be at. It'd be Alonso all over again for me.

Well that's some good news at least. I'm sure I read somewhere that the City scouts we got wanted to move on to pastures new (or back to City) a few months back . But if its not the main two then that's good news. They'd better get their finger out if they're part of the 'committe' though.

Agree, but in fairness haven't Brazil played great teams such as Iran & China?

For me, Coutinho has proved that he has what it takes to be an LFC player. A very good one as well....

Those Man City scouts need ****ing off. They are ****. No wonder City wouldn't sign any of their recommendations!

I'd definitely fire that whole transfer committee. Useless. As for Rodgers, lets see where we are at the end of the season.

It's all well and good trying to "sign Suarez when he was at Groningen", as it were, but I think we've tried to be way too clever too often. There's no shame in making, or at least trying to make, obvious signings....at least some established quality. All about a blend and a balance isn't it, and of that summer spree we didn't sign one ready made top level player who could make a difference, with the arguable exception of Lallana, who most would agree is a fine player but was way overpriced.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Man, those obviously good players are the worst. Avoid.

It's frightening how horrendous our incoming transfers have been over the past three years.

When you see the list of players, how can it be that only Sturridge and Coutinho are the bright sparks? I thought the DOF structure was scrapped because Rodgers wanted it binned, and a committee would ensure better group analysis on players, strategy and joint accountability. Instead, we're left with some serious question marks over transfer strategy.

It irrelevant for me though as regardless about the relative merits of our summer signings we shouldn't be getting turned over by West Ham, Palace, Newcastle while only just fluking a result at QPR. Even Boro almost took a pretty strong team down. We make the worst teams in the league look like world beaters and he's being out thought by Fat Sam and Warnock. As **** as our summer signings were there is absolutely no way they are as bad as their current showings.

****e at the minute. His heads up his arse
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

The thing about trying to be clever is that it works only when we are actually clever at it. Our transfer record over the last few years (starting in Rafa's final years) is so horrendous that I am surprised why we are even trying to be clever.
