Think there is a culture of scapegoating spreading through the club. Takes me back to end of Rafa and Hodgson reign. Morale must be totally **** at the club. Even then, it kind of misses the point. Our main issues at the moment are, selections are poor, system is wrong and we have regressed to a style of play that opposition teams have sussed out. Nearly all teams in PL have pace in attack. They are happy to keep a shape against us and wait for us to lose the ball or pressure in certain areas. Why we have gone back to that is beyond me.

No wonder Sterling looks so blunt. We have no intention of playing it behind defenders and using his pace
I haven't missed your spreading of baseless rumours since you've been away. So far we have this Balotelli rumour, the rumour about Rodgers taking 3 summer holidays and having no say/interest in transfers. Is there any other made up bull**** I've missed?

    Oh yeah and welcome back.

Ah forgot you needed a source for everything. It's from Chris Bascombe and some of his mates on Twitter who are known to be reliable. And there was an article over the weekend in The Mirror too.

Oh and he was on holiday in Boston, and 2 beach holidays in the Summer. Not my fault you missed it.

Haven't really missed you if Im honest

Now now. Lets keep this civil.

Asking for a source is hardly a big thing is it?

Taking holidays - shocking behaviour. There is no way a visit to Boston could possibly incorporate conversations with our owners is there? I think the fact that you take such interest in the movements of our manager during the off season is the thing that needs explaining not Pablo's lack of stalking.

Why does it need explaining? Wenger was talking to Alexis Sanchez through the summer. Brendan was on hols not scouting any player. World Cup is a pretty big event for scouting. If he wasnt happy with The Committee he should have been watching players himself and putting them forward, strikers like Valencia at West Ham

I didnt mention Pablo stalking. Glad you mentioned it though

Talking can't possibly happen over the phone. totally impossible I assume?

I don't actually think the World cup is a particularly useful venue for scouting really players like Valencia had one good game and were flagged up pre-tournament. Also how do we know he wasn't happy with the committee.

If you think he was happy wih The Committee then it's not even worth getting into a debate over it really.

So it's the committee to blame and not Brendan?

Is it not a combination? That's what I've said a few times. Think we should have signed a couple quality players along with a couple young squad players. But even with who we have we should not have done as badly as we have. System, selections, style of play have been abysmal. Not all down to player recruitment

To be fair talking to the player in person will always achieve better results than doing it over the phone. But I also agree Rodgers should of been over there where all the best players in the world were assembled in one place. I was a little surprised he was off rewarding himself.

I was under the impression, from news tittle tattle & rumours of course, that Sanchez wanted to live in London. If that's the case then I'm not sure what difference Brendan would have made in person.

Tbf if BR had got all his first choice signings we would be as good as any team out there, i mean we would of had Suarez and Costa up front last season.
Our problem is not been able to bring that calibre in, that's what needs sorting.

EVERY manager can use that excuse

                              Moyes wanted Bale & Ronaldo

                              Rafa wanted Aguero & Pato

                              Roy wanted Carlton Cole
