But then everyone will be on his back after a year just like they have been with Rodgers.Originally posted by RedRum View PostIf it happens this guy would be my choice

You're talking as if he's been criticised for no reason. If the next manager makes sensible signings, gets results and has us playing good football no one will be on his back, Brendan is failing miserably in all 3 of those criterias.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostBut then everyone will be on his back after a year just like they have been with Rodgers.

If anyone should be afforded more time its Klopp. Rafa would be given that too but I wouldn't want another step back in time, we tried that with Dalglish...Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostBut then everyone will be on his back after a year just like they have been with Rodgers.

Difference is jurgen klopp is a proven winner whereas our manager hasn't proved anything and was fortunate to get this job in the first place.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostBut then everyone will be on his back after a year just like they have been with Rodgers.

Yep. 215 million spent on 20 or so players and he's made 1 unquestionably successful signing (Sturridge), I'd make a case for Kolo because he was free but even if you count him that's a 10% success rate. Awful.Originally posted by Keyser Soze View PostA manager lives and dies by his signings and unfortunately this is what's going to ultimately cause Rodgers to lose his jobs.

Probably, sad to see really.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostThink he'll be a goner now after this.
I hope he's remembered for the fact that for 18 months he had us playing the best football this club has seen since we last won the league and got us closer than any other manager to winning the league.
