I hope he's remembered for the fact that for 18 months he had us playing the best football this club has seen since we last won the league and got us closer than any other manager to winning the league.
I agree with this though. A mini legend for bringing some good times but he's been found out now. Sorry Rodgers, I think this job came too soon for you.Was muß, das muß.

It wasn't a fluke. On those 2 world class strikers you speak of 1 was signed by this manager and the other only reached his full potential under this manager.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostI hope he is gone now. I don't think we know what we're doing any more. Last season looks more like a fluke carried by two strikers in world class form.
Who the **** manages us in the mean time though? Pascoe? **** that.

I don't know, I've liked him and been a supporter, ****ing loved last season and he was a major part of it - this lineup today just seemed like a gamble from someone who has run out of ideas.
The signings, the lack of dynamism, the prod, prod, pass, pass recent tactics, the sterility, the lack of confidence is leading me to think its time for a break.
Its the recruitment and excuse making that has killed it. I wouldn't have minded a cursory showing in the Champions League in place of a consolidation of top four and a league tilt - but its all been wrong everywhere.

Hm if the score line was lower and we'd played like we wanted it I'd be inclined to agree, however it's been pretty damn poor and with the same culprits causing the problems who are still getting into the starting line up (and not being taken off).Originally posted by Muddled View PostHe made some bold decisions and came with a game plan that he very nearly pulled off. Defeat to Manchester United hurts like ****, but we made a game of this today and any changes Rodgers makes aren't going to immediately fall into place.
Rodgers deserves time to see these changes through.
But in his defence; Balotelli should've had a couple and Sterling too. It's ****ing hard to judge at this point.
Argh.

Unfortunately he has lost it, no idea how to set us up or who to play. Insisting on playing the same under performers all season, anyone who comes in and plays well seems to just get dropped for the same ****e.
United didn't even have to play well to beat us that's the worst thing about it. Enough is enough, lets stop the rot and try and salvage this season by going all out after Klopp.

I don't understand the committee and I can;t imagine that Brendan hasn't been heavily involved in the signings. He said he has final say, and with that, all the responsibility for the disasters Lovren and Balotelli rest with him. Its a scandalous waste of the biggest fund ever entrusted to a Liverpool manager. ****ing shocking.

Didn't watch the game but heard a bit of commentary on the radio. Didn't sound like we played that badly overall.
I predicted 3-0 and 3-0 it was. Not a surprise as we don't have decent strikers available right now and they do. We also have a terrible record at Old Trafford and have generally lost there even with good teams in form.
Give him the January transfer window and let's see what we do then.
All is not lost this season... yet
