if Lovren makes another game-costing **** up though, then i think he will struggle to come back from that.....
For me, Brendan needs to treat each of the next 5 league games as if they are with his job on the line....
He should be treating all the league games like that
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
i suppose the point i meant to make, is that it shouldnt be about developing players, or helping them to settle in.....or getting players game time so that they hopefully find some form.......so if i was brendan then i would be tempted to drop Firmino Joe Gomez and Lovren for the next few games. Use the europa and Carlisle game to get them up to speed. Play a midfield of Lucas sitting with Henderson and Milner in the middle - and coutinho behind Benteke and one other - probably Ings. Defense of Skrtel and Sakho with Moreno and Clyne at full back.

Firmino's full name is Firmino Joe Gomez?
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Surely someone on the internet could take some time out from inventing 18 different types of pressing and different categories of chances to analyse games by, and run us up a quick statistical analysis of player turnover (#) vs average player tenure vs cost (fee + wages) for Rafa, Hodgson, Brendan.
It's easy to forget that there was a huge revolving door endlessly going round during Rafa's tenure too.
I bet if we looked back at the money spent having to trade as we had cancerous owners and little money beforehand, compared to the ones that have backed the current incumbent, that we made a profit from Rafa's dealings. Plus, when he left, he left a far superior squad to the one that we have now.
Case in point, 293m spent by Brendan and the transfer committee, I'd say we'd be lucky to get even, being kind a huge financial loss. The money wasted is beyond belief.....
However, not sure why Rafa was brought up in a Brendan thread........
