He won't go in this little break its way too early but if we keep having results like yesterday, and given the fixtures its very possible, I think there's every chance they'll sack him early. They don't want to be out of the champions league any longer and if they wait till summer its 2 whole seasons before we can be back in it. Sack him early this season and you never know, we could be up there next summer especially seeing how Chelsea have started the season.

The comment about the early goal hurting us annoyed me aswell. Its an early goal which means we have 87 minutes to put it right, why do our arses always go when we concede first? Character my hoop.

They'll only get rid if he's looking like he's failing his targets this season. As mentioned earlier the cost of any change to the management of the club would be massive and quite an overhead to take on whilst the works to the stadium take place.

        I would go with:

        --------Mignolet---------
        Clyne Sktrel Sakho Gomez
        ---------Lucas----------
        ---Milner---Henderson---
        Firmino-----------Lallana
        --------Benteke--------

Essentially the same set up and tactics as Arsenal but with Sakho in for Lovren, Lallana in for Coutinho and Henderson in for Can.

This is exactly the type of game we need Lucas to play his normal DM role, Henderson and Milner in midfield to provide hard work energy and pressing. Firmino to hopefully provide some flair and Lallana because he's probably the best of the bunch for that role at the moment. Sakho in for Lovren because well anyone who saw the game yesterday knows why.

The key thing for me is to ensure we keep pressing them that is what worked so well against Arsenal and is what we need to do here aswell, for me we play our best when we press, it gives us a purpose when we don't press we look lost.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That Rodgers quote about "in-game static and moving positions" is really the hallmark of a total ****in bull****ter. This constant changing of systems is the sign of a man floundering. And as rightly pointed out, when we did well with three at the back last season and then lost one game, he threw it out the window. He has zero consistency in his approach. He won't last much longer with us and it'll be interesting to see what happens him next. I think his stock as a manger is plummeting. Football people will think he's a soundbite, cocky bull****ter.

Similar to me then you've just been a bit braver with the defence which I quite like.

I don't buy this argument I have to say, sure the red on the books for this season would look bad as his three years remaining are paid off but in the scheme of things that's one Borini transfer fee and Liverpool ain't got that yet either!

The question is short term hit for long term hits or stick with someone even as they fail to deliver (should that be the case) how long does one leave things?

He's got the whole season, barring some major cock up of Hodgson proportions, his future will be decided at the end of year meeting with the owners. I don't see one or two results changing that.

Talk of him getting the boot after one loss is insanity.

I can't see him lasting until Christmas.

                              It's his fourth season.

We've lost one game, any idea he's going to be removed at the moment is crazy.
