Thanjk you.

In the article I read it as he is making reference to a combination of having, new players who are adapting, young inexperienced players, lack of training time which is all contributing to the current poor form which is equivalent to starting again. We needed a bigger squad and had no choice but to take gambles on young players.
I personally this BR needs to be given time.
Not even Gollum moaned about playing 3 games a week. He just needs to stop mentioning it because he's giving his detractors something to pull him up on. Rodgers has had the same amount of time as the other coaches that manage big clubs. It's a ridiculous excuse imo.

You understand how press conferences work? The press ask a question and expect an answer you don't answer the back pages will be he's lost it a la the Rafa rant or you give conflicting answers he doesn't know the answer or how to fix things.
He can't win and that's how the press in this country work

Yes, I understand how press conferences work but thank you for enlightening me.
he's under huge pressure and he knows it. Putting martin skrtel upfront in the last 10 mins of the basel game tells you everything you need to know about what the guy is feeling.
no philosophies or ideologies - its all about results and he is fighting for his job. Losing tomorrow against man united could be the last straw but thats the easy decision to make. Who will take over the team and get us back up the table.
Don't know where to put this so here will do. Why Liverpool will never win the league by Paul Tomkins. On my phone so somebody else can copy and paste.
what he's saying though is true. he is a world class coach of young talent but there's a world of difference between developing young players and managing a winning team. Alex ferguson never took training apparently and left all that to his assistants. But come matchday he picked the best team to get them 3 points.
Above all he wanted to win at all costs something which brendan has only just realised.

Sat in a press conference being asked the same questions over and over again he's got to say something and probably best not to contradict himself either.
Long and the short of it what he says to the press is irrelevant he knows he has to start getting the results or he's going to be out of a job, everything he says and all managers are just sound bytes for the press to shift newspapers/create page impressions.
Yep, the obsession with trawling his interviews is weird and if thats the worst thing he's said then i'd say he's handling them well. I understood it with Hodgson, he was a cunt and would make a cunt of himself in the first sentence, here though he's not saying much wrong.
Bet he is gutted we weren't **** enough to finish bottom of the group and get no European football. Could have had a lot more coaching time as a result.
