That one I don't have an issue with. Sure, Henderson did very well, but we were completely in control of the game. Bringing on a more attacking player made sense. Starting with Shelvey as part of an attacking 3 was a mistake though. He played poorly generally, but he didn't/didn't know how to attack the 6 yard line.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

No, they're not.Originally posted by Alex View PostYep, they got posted. Not the nicest articles are they.
And yet I think that they expressed well the 5-10% doubt even the most optimistic reds have about Rodgers. There's no getting around the fact that he is unproven and has confidence not matched by achievements. And the points he makes about Rodgers not having that killer instinct and how that seems to filter into the team... It's ott right now, but it's kinda close to the bone too. If Rodgers doesn't work out here, it'll be for the reasons Fanning has identified. I hope he's proven wrong obviously.Felching ≠ Gerbilling

after the arsenal and city performances [not results] he felt a little cocky again. started talking about how we havent given up on a european slot yet...
is it just a coincidence that every time he gets a little ahead of himself the team play ****...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Yep, too be honest as I said above. He makes a load of valid points. But I feel its just a bit too early to make them. Now if we are in the same position in a year, these fears I have will pretty much be a reality.Originally posted by badpiggy View PostNo, they're not.

Can't see it myself. But then again, it would seem that you're clearly not a fan, and you're looking for things to beat him with.Originally posted by baitman View Postafter the arsenal and city performances [not results] he felt a little cocky again. started talking about how we havent given up on a european slot yet...

Manchester City and Liverpool were among three Premier League clubs to enquire about the services of Carlo Ancelotti in November, according to reports in France.
The Paris St-Germain boss is wanted by several top European clubs, including Real Madrid, and appears to be on his way out of the Ligue 1 at the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger have both been linked with the Italian’s post at the Parc de Princes and that could open the door for a Premier League return.
Manchester City bosses have been disappointed with Roberto Mancini this season, following their lacklustre title defence, and reports from Anfield suggest Liverpool owners FSG are growing frustrated with poor results from Brendan Rodgers’ side.
And French newspaper Le Parisien report that the pair both considered a move for Ancelotti before the end of 2012

Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with a return to the Premier League after admitting he is unsure if he will remain at Paris Saint-Germain beyond the end of the season.
The 53-year-old has been in charge at the Ligue 1 club since December 2011 but admits his tenure at Les Parc des Princes could be coming to an end, after he revealed he has not been in talks with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi over an extension to his current deal.
The news could open the door for Ancelotti to make a return to England, with both Manchester City and Liverpool believed to have made enquiries into the Italian’s services in November, according to French newspaper Le Parisien.
‘I want to stay. But I know that, at the end of the season, the club will decide whether they’re happy or not with my work,’ he told French sports newspaper L’Equipe.
‘I haven’t spoken with Nasser. It’s simple. We will see how things stand at the end of the season and, if the club is happy, and me too, we will continue. Otherwise, there’s no other choice. It’s one or the other. I’m very happy here, but if the club is not happy, I will have no problem changing.’
And a return to the Premier League would be a very plausible outcome, after the former AC Milan midfielder also admitted he would be interested in a move back across the Channel.
PSG, who currently sit six points clear of nearest rivals Lyon at the top of Ligue 1, travel to Valencia tonight in the first leg of their last 16 clash in the Champions League, having topped Group A ahead of FC Porto, Dynamo Kiev and Dinamo Zagreb, although January signing David Beckham is not expected to play.
Both Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho have been linked with the PSG job should Ancelotti depart Paris._____________________________________
