A bit of a **** article. Our 08/09 season wasn't because of Gerrard and Torres scoring a lot of goals. They missed a lot of games that season but we still scored a lot of goals.

Rafa will never build a tactic around one or two players. He build his tactics around the team so they won't depend on key players.

We could be without many key players but still had a great chance to win against every club in the league, home and away.

If a player didn't had loads of game intelligence then he didn't fit in.

Rodgers build his team around technique and game intelligence. The same as Rafa did.

Leadership was also very important if you would fit in back in the Rafa days. Rodgers don't seem to think that is so important.

Rodgers doesn't think leadership is important ? Is that why he permanently dropped Skrtel last season in favour of the 35 year old Jamie Carragher and constantly praised his organisational skills and experience ?

I don't have a problem with him having a different opinion to me, but what I simply can't tolerate is his thinly disguised desire to see our current manager fail and get sacked in the hope that a manager more to his liking is appointed preferably a certain Rafael Benitez.
He won't admit to this obviously and he does try to pretend he wants Rodgers to succeed but most posters who have been around these boards a while know what his agenda is.
