He may have been ****ed but he still made the runs and carried the ball more than Gerrard and Lambert. Stupid substitution. Just invited them on. And not only was he ****ed.. He also signaled to the bench so he was probably feeling the knock. Just **** defending as a team from another set piece.

Right to take Sterling off he was exhausted but wrong to put Moreno on IMO. Just made us sit deeper. Can & lallana should have been on to push us forward & get some vital possession. You could see that goal coming as soon as we dropped deep.Comment

We'd have conceded even if we took Sterling off so it's irrelevant whether he'd stayed on or not.
As other's have already pointed out he was knackered and possibly even carrying an injury. Rodgers can't be blamed for that ffs.
Feel for BR a bit, can see how much this is hurting him. We played ok tonight, not great by any stretch but were more committed and better organised.
