He's failing completely on managing squad rotation and missing out on the extra time to coach through the week. He's admitting his weaknesses there - I don't think he's doing himself any favours by bringing that up.
He's weakly looking for excuses.
If he's going to come out and bleat about it being a learning curve and he has a lack of experience for that, then he might as well hand in his notice now, because there is no time for that or enough sentiment earned for the laughs we had last season.Comment

Hard to defend anything about his decisions today. He's just got no answer with thee players available. He doesn't trust a number of his own purchases and avoids like them plague, even when there are no other options.
