couldn't put it better. Pretty stark when you put it that way.Originally posted by Tee View PostHis is a miracle worker who has managed to turn a team that finished runners up into bunch of the most average footballers I have ever seen wearing the famous shirt. And he has done it by spending more than any manager in our history. He has to go.
That is all I will say on it.Really?

I would agree and if things haven't changed then hopefully by that time Klopp will have lost the Dortmund support and chooses us as his English teamOriginally posted by chadrtc View PostHe has to be given until Sturridge is fit again... Anything other than that would be grossly unfair. He gets the whole season for me.

Sure we talked about this a while go, and how we'd have to put up with BR...a young manager; learning on the job, and how that was good because no club gives a young manager time these days.
Must admit i'm torn on BR, i really don't know if he's a forward thinking manager that will get better; and is going through another career bad patch?! or just a snake oil salesman with all the banter, talks a lot about football in a different way; but without really saying anything tactically enlightening.

I'd keep him all the time if the only alternative is AVB.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostHe has to be given until Sturridge is fit again... Anything other than that would be grossly unfair. He gets the whole season for me.
I'd kill for a Rafa Return - its unimaginative and unlikely, but I reckon he could do a better job with the squad. There are some decent players there wearing a chainmail of unconfidence when they play.

the pressure really has got to him. As soon as things start going wrong this season he has just crumbled. Some crazy decisions that just can't be defended.
What a ****ing epic disaster we are having.

He's 2½ years here nearly and he can't organise a defence and has only recently realised we need a quality DM, on top of that his input into players signing's is almost 100% poor so really, the signs aren't good. Yeah we played great stuff last year but Luis Suarez was apparently a very large part of that.

I'd take Rafa in a heart beat. He's unfinished business and he knows it.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostI'd keep him all the time if the only alternative is AVB.

His signings are almost universally ****. What would Rafa have achieved with £100m?Originally posted by G View PostHe's 2½ years here nearly and he can't organise a defence and has only recently realised we need a quality DM, on top of that his input into players signing's is almost 100% poor so really, the signs aren't good. They didn't even talk to Rafa last time and then he was a free agent.....for me it would be great as well but I can't see it happening. The only way I could see it would be if we sacked the manager mid season and Rafa was also out of work and did a Kenny second coming on it......like he did when he went to Chelsea.....
Personally I could see Rafa getting a solid team there as well......probably something like Henderson and Can in midfield with sterling Coutinho and markovic behind Sturridge.......
Can't see it happening though to be honest....

Jose mourinho has shown what a structured and organised approach to football can achieve in a relatively short space of time. Man city aren't consistent enough, arsenal, ourselves, united and spurs are ****.
Rafa Benitez knows how to organise teams to make us hard to beat. the season he spent some serious money we finished 2nd.

I agree we had possibly the easiest group on paper of all the English clubs and we still screwed it up.Originally posted by tanner View PostThere's really no excuse for us failing to qualify from this group. A draw against Basle in itself is one thing, but to come away with just a single victory amongst these two is simply unacceptable.
