Nobody deserves abuse. He's trying his best, its just that its not good enough. Nobody deserves abuse for trying and failing.
Agreed, he shouldn't be abused but he's painfully out of his depth and making big selection mistakes.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

His is a miracle worker who has managed to turn a team that finished runners up into bunch of the most average footballers I have ever seen wearing the famous shirt. And he has done it by spending more than any manager in our history. He has to go.
That is all I will say on it."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Shanks had Paisley and Fagan.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostIts like he's wilting under the pressure. He's not really managing his first full crisis very well, and if anything is making it worse with poor selections and putting more pressure onto the squad.
Paisley had Fagan and Evans.
Rodgers needs an assistant to take some of the load off his shoulders

Rodgers OUT (at the end of the season).
Last year was a lot of fun, but how much was that due to Rodgers and how much was Suarez? Poyet was right where he said we would have been mid table had it not been for Suarez.
Ignoring that, since Rodgers has been here two things stand out:
1. Rodgers hasn't the foggiest when it comes to setting up a defence (and in fact this was one of the contributing factors to losing the title last year)
2. One successful signing (Sturridge) - Coutinho too hit and miss and pretty much every other signing hasn't performed. We can't trust him to buy himself out of trouble, he'll dig the club in to a bigger one. He’s here! I *know* he’s here! That’s him, I’m telling you that’s him! You hear me? I’m telling you it’s *Keyser Soze*!

Sacking a manager who took the fourth or fifth best team in the league to second position only six months into the following season, well history will looks on that as reactionary. It's hard not to feel reactionary though. He's got to have a full season to be given a reasonable chance to turn things around really.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
