Schneiderlin & Berahino/Bony would be nice. Hopefully the scouts actually do their job properly. I'd be getting rid of Allen too... can't stand him.

Can't see much business in January, Maybe a striker in and Borini out. We'll probably loan a few out too.

          Yep that will do

A £20 million striker and a £10 million defensive midfielder.

          Sorted!

is that not what has landed us in the ****e? Lallana, Lovren, Lambert, 50m worth of one season wonders.

and bet you would not get much change from 50m for Shneiderlin and Bony once our transfer committee get involved.

It's time to go for more experience and proven talent. But I don't think we are in a financial position to do so, therefore I expect a few loan deals and an overpriced young English player to come in.

It was a £15m 'thank you' to Swansea for nicking their manager.

To implement 'Rodgers style'. He started off well, but ever since he's been rather awful. I'm really not a fan of Allen's either. Wouldn't look out of place in a Championship team.

I can understand the thinking behind not changing to much last night considering we were on a 4 game unbeaten "run" (well 5 now), so trying to get some consistency seems reasonable. But we havn't played particularly well, and didn't last night untill the last 15. It didn't work out, and at least Rodgers deserves credit for changing things at half time. We looked a lot more lively with Markovic untill that idiotic red card.

Sunday's game is monumentally important right now, hopefully we will see players with better movement getting to start the game i.e. no Lambert and Allen...

Schneirdlin is a quality player. As for Bony, he is a goalscorer pure and simple, quick and powerful.. very effective player. Berahino fair enough could go either way & they might want stupid money....actually all might cost stupid money.

Schneiderlin would be my pick though, class player.

Not convinced about the drink-driver (was he ever done for that BTW?) but it's early days for him, and Bony is a blunt instrument in many ways, but one who's scoring goals at an average team (more PL goals in the calendar year than anyone else).

But Schneiderlin does look a quality player.....but, we can't deal with Southampton again though, we'd probably give them the trophy room or something.

for me, we need 4 points in our league games against United and Arsenal and a win against Bournemouth as well for things to be looking up....

I think the team selection against United will tell a lot......I think he would be brave to drop Gerrard to the bench again. He could be the impact player that we need but if he drops him and we lose the game, then sky sports will go mental!!
