He isn't tactically "****." He just isn't. Sometimes he's started with the wrong team, but he's proven many times that he at least half knows what he's doing with his substitutions and changing our formation. He will get things wrong sometimes, but he's better tactically than our last two managers, and that's something we should at least try to take into consideration.

We're crap defensively - way too fragile. We don't defend well and we don't press or keep the ball. We're horrible to watch at the moment, don't feel confident about our performances at all. I do think we've improved offensively now that we have Sturridge, but our style of play is completely amateurish. We're not organised enough to soak up the pressure that we invite upon ourselves.

Pretty sure we were on similar points at this stage last season and had made it to a Cup Final and then ended up in a 2nd Cup finalOriginally posted by Marina View PostSince I'm comparing Kenny c. 2012 and Rodgers, yes, I am saying that Rodgers is better tactically than Kenny.
I think Rogers will be a good coach but he has a hell of lot to learn and to say he is better than Kenny is laughable."All I'll ever do is all I've ever done in any job, and that's promise to fight for my life for the supporters and the people of the city"

NonsenseOriginally posted by TheElephantMan View PostThere hasn't been any improvement on the field since Kenny left. The improvements have been financial, we've offloaded dross and we're saving money. The performances and results are pretty much as they were. Possibly slightly worse than under Kenny.

If you say so, don't how I can take someone seriously who says Rogers is better tactically then Kenny.Originally posted by Marina View PostOk whatever. You always have something negative to say about Rodgers, the team, etc, and I tend to be a little more optimistic. So let's agree to disagree, because I'm pretty sure we will very often disagree."All I'll ever do is all I've ever done in any job, and that's promise to fight for my life for the supporters and the people of the city"

We are averaging more points per game than last season and are going to absolutely destroy last seasons goal tally. Some concerns defensively but theres signs of progress.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostThere hasn't been any improvement on the field since Kenny left.
