They had at least made fourth in the league the previous year. You can argue the league was weaker but I doubt that really. And elsewhere in Europe the standard was probably lower too..

Mere observation of body language is just merely observation.
After numerous write ups since Sunday blaming younger players, Skrtel/Rodgers rumours, various youth players being singled out for lower division futures etc.................the first direct comment on-screen by Rodgers blaming himself for team selection has a hint of 'knowing' IMO.
Don't read too much into one observation of body language.
