On the whole:

We made mistakes early on in the season that were as a result of the new system. Either a direct slip up by a player in possession, or a failure to cover.

Now we don't. The mistakes we've made lately can happen with any formation.

Failure to close down crosses quick enough. Losing men in the box.

Obviously, any goal can be prevented, but in honesty odd mistakes will always happen, particularly when put under serious pressure like we were against Arsenal.

For me, we are getting better.

After a season you assess what you need, and if its a defensive coach then so be it.

He is and if we sit that deep against City we will get murdered. I thought one of Rogers key philosophies was pressing the opposition what happened to that in the second half and why did he wait till after they equalized to change things they had one of the worst defenders in the league in Santos yet we did not target him
