Ultimately it's all irrelevant. Kenny was was short and brusque with interviewers, but yet he would put his players on a pedestal too.

Really it's about results and the rest is irrelevant noise. Unless you enjoy being glued to Sky Sports News.
    Oh I don't know.

Funny thing is, I used to be a massive supporter of his even before we hit the ground running in the season we came second. So in a way, I used to love him, we got married, but then I couldn't take anymore of his lies and we went our seperate ways

I know I was only being annoying, sorry Let's just agree that this isn't a big deal at all and that I don't like the manager's media personality which doesn't mean though that he's not a fantastic person or an outstanding manager.

I think you've got it right at the end of your post: He could be grumpy and negative or beaming and positive and he's going to get picked up on it.
Could be right, if someonehave decides that they don't like a person, it becomes difficult to look at anything they do or say in an objecvtive way, but it's not impossible for some fans to do and i think i'm kind-of one of those, i din't really have faith in BR the moment we were linked, and he's not really done enough to change that feeling.

However; when we're good under BR we are very good, so if we can just get the signings right going forward then i think he can certainly take us to a higher level, just have a nagging doubt at the back of mind is all that he'll not be the one that restores LFC to near where we were, but that could be because of a myriad of reasons tbf, most of them non BR related.

So our manager can't publicly praise a new signing who has been outstanding since joining us?
"Best English Right Back" - Name a better one?

I don't think the main thing is about him praising Clyne in this instance, it's just that he has a habit of going a bit OTT with his wording, at least for me, and like I said this isn't really a big deal, neither this nor his proneness for BS when we are doing well, it annoys some but not others, which again shouldn't be a big deal or incite namecalling.

Clearly a medium for insulting each other for holding varying outlooks.

I did think he was so lucky to not have been sacked. He does talk a bit of **** and last season made a bit of a show of himself with the comments he made and that arrogance.

In saying that he remained silent during the pre season & seems to be more focused and not as chummy in his interviews....which is refreshing. We have bought well & have started very well in the league with alot of new players. Once we are getting results you can't really criticise the man.

It's been a great start and long may it last. Well done to Brendan and the team so far. It early days but as i've said before the season started..I'm quietly optimistic. If we can beat West Ham and not get any more ****ing injuries, we could have Hendo and Sturridge coming back for the United game & other vital players much fitter aswell.

Anyways, I don't really see the point in arguing about Rodgers at the moment. He;s done ok so far & long may it continue.

clyne has fitted in to the group and has showed he will be a very good player... a measured response, avoids overblowing clyne and handing him on a plate to bodge to try and ruin him for us while playing for england.

clyne is the best right back in this universe and he will walk into the any galaxy 11 and anyone who doesnt pick him is a floppy jowelled dribbling cunt... maybe backing himself and the player into a corner.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Haha I guess I should clarify myself a bit. The post I made this morning I guess was an accumulation of the Marcovic news, the 'how we'll play' against Arsenal PC and then the high praise for Clyne after just 3 competitive games.

I do wish he would just reign it in a bit.

He could've had a pre match discussion with Wenger telling him exactly how we will play in great detail - it'd still made no difference. Arsenal play only one way and they repeat it every game.

In fact, I think I may even have posted in the build up or match thread exactly that same point. Force Arsenal to play wide and you effectively make them an average attacking side. Allow them to play centrally and they can be stunning.

Of course, it's not that easy to force them wide when they dominate possession, but regardless of opposition tactics, they don't change.
                            Forwards.......
