    No.

Pardew's doing a great job at Palace, but you honestly think he's the level of manager that can make us top 4 again?

Yes. Don't care how well we play against United, there have been too many of games like today's in his three years here. 2 goals scored in 4 games, one from offside and one from 30 meters out, no trace of a gameplan, lots of cash spent but still relying on Ings, Ibe and Moreno to turn our game around... I'm not even gonna blame him for today's defending, cause I don't think any of that was his fault, but he's in charge of a team that clearly doesn't work. And some of the results he's served us with have been among the absolute worst in last ten years. Regularly losing points against newly promoted sides, suddenly turning the likes of West Ham, Crystal Palace and Stoke into our rivals, that ****in 1-6 and today 0-3 at home...

And don't tell me this is knee jerk or whatever, this has been going on since last year and despite a decend point return so far this season, it's really ****in hard to see any of that change.

Can anyone really say there has been progression under Rodgers?

Is there anything that you can point to that gives confidence that he's the right man for the job?

He's in his fourth year at the club and every year the game plan changes. It's like he goes from one extreme to another and repeats the same mistakes time and time again. We've just paid a near club record fee for a striker and he looks as isolated and lost up top as mario did last season.

does anyone still believe it was rodgers making suarez into the player he was.
suarez made us into the team that almost won the league, not rodgers.

once you get over that, then ask what has rodgers actually improved about the team and our play in his time with us.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

He talks about character a lot but when we concede first we never look like getting back into games. Today had a familiar feel so I checked. In the league last season we won one game and drew one game having conceded the first goal.

So if we concede first you may aswell write the points off.

Can't even be added checking the facts, but it sounds about right.

At least Pardew isn't a ****ing pussy and knows how to get the best from his players, Rodgers certainly doesn't seem to possess the ability to do so.

Look no matter what happens this season Rodgers no longer has anything to hide behind. He has thrown staff and players under the bus for last season and if it goes tits up again then his head is on the chopping block.

I'm of the opinion that he should have been replaced in the summer but give him enough rope and he will hang himself in time. Most people think that this will be his last season here unless he wins something which looking back at kenny isn't a guarantee to stay in the job or finish top 4

FSG and co will be looking at things as 7 points from 12.

The level of anger toward Rodgers by the fanbase after one defeat really does reflect how he's on such thin ice. Is this what we're going to get after every defeat? I wanted him gone at the end of last season, but even I'm surprised at the reaction, as normally, it'd be written off as a freak game and a bad day at the office.

I think this is why it was a bold/bizarre move to keep him on.

We were so poor at the end of last season, some of the worst defeats in my 30 odd years of properly following the club, that it was only ever going to take a few shock results to put Brendan under the microscope. Having invested in the squad you have to stick with him, but to what point? I don't think he'll get away with many results like today.

We are not a club that should be losing 3-0 at home to anyone, let alone West ****ing Ham...
