F sakes, knew I shouldn't have posted before going to sleep last night. Dreamt about him all night (non sexual).

Bob football is all about bringing players up to a certain level of ability then exposing oppo weaknesses. Money and big names are just cherries on the cake. We badly lack direction and Rodgers knows that. Time for us is big money. Let's afford him that at least.

i would have felt much happier had we appointed a DoF to help with off the field matters, allowing rodgers concentrate on the coaching side of things.

its all fine rodgers saying he doesnt want to work under a DoF, but what about working with a DoF...

maybe now he has had a little time to settle in and he can see how the owners are so detached from the running of the club, he has little or no support around him. surely the extra distractions can only serve to compromise his time and concentration on team matters...

this is back to fsg, and their lack of knowledge in footballing matters, not having a sustainable management structure in place, and all the **** falls at brendans feet, just like during the happened with kenny/suarez

It's all rather odd; no DoF coming in, rumours of Segura leaving when he was earmarked for a technical position within the club, Ian Ayre's role, etc, etc. I've heard talk of a lack of leadership but actually it's more a lack of management which is a very different thing.

Interview is about 45mins long but is very interesting giving some insight into the tactics employed against City and Arsenal.

Gives a breakdown of what he expects from the defenders and keepers with the ball and how he wants between 60-70% possession per game to inflict 'death by football'.
