I found him quite inoffensive and would rather him every time over any of those 80’s Arsenal ****wits.

Must have been strange going on air not long after finding out Arsenal had blown any chance of the title, to commentate on your old club against the team you allegedly support.

Personally I thought he was delighted to see us doing well.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think to say Arsenal have blown any chance of the title is a little silly, they have the same points as we do.

They are on a downward spiral, whereas we are on the up. Whatever way you look at at it was a massive blow to them, but that wasn’t really the point of my post.

They won't win the title BTW!

          Not based on trajectory though!

Think you are been a bit harsh on Walcott, the others were asking him to basically admit that Liverpool are a better team than the team he plays for and he stumbled to come up with a suitable response

I'm not on about that or anything to do with Liverpool, just pretty much everything he said from start to finish. Random words just fell out of his mouth over which he appeared to have zero control. Like he had a cliche generator in the back of his throat but by the time they emerged all the words got jumbled.

Didn't realise he was definitely out until next season though. I thought he had an outside chance of WC.

He was nervous, but I felt sorry for him. I didn't think he was quite as bad as you did. I think it's a tougher job than it looks and he was just overcome with nerves.

They gave him pretty inane questions.

The questions are always inane. Walcott seems a nice enough lad but because he has a nice Home Counties accent the industry seems to have mistaken him for intelligent.

And to cap his mumbo jumbo cliché-fest waffle, he is one of the worst in the business for starting every answer with "Yeah no".

I can understand that, he looked like a deer in the headlights didn't he!

I still think you're being a touch harsh. Incidentally I'd love to see you on TV stoned off your box trying to answer all those questions

No doubt it's more difficult than it looks but though he was clearly nervous he was completely hopeless. Yeah no, he's extremely dim.

Yup, looks the part and speaks with a pleasant tone, but he was just talking nonsense.

                              For Suarez's goal:

Jamie Redknapp: As he hits it, Theo, you don't give the keeper a chance to get set do you?
Theo Walcott: Yeah, no exactly, that's it ... err, yeah .. you hit it so early you don't give the keeper the chance to settle. He knows where the goal is.
David Jones: Something you work on all the time? Getting your shot away early?
Theo Walcott: Yeah, no, all the time, you know where the goal is, you aim for the corners, goalie has no chance.

Walcott was only brought on to make Redknapp look decent. Still didn't work.
