Changed Gerrard's game, Sturridge was near world class, Suarez was world class, Henderson was brilliant, Sterling flourished. I've been thinking of late that in some ways the big difference between the time with Rodgers and Klopp is not so much tactical or technical but that Klopp brings the attitude and enthusiasm that Suarez did to the team. Everyone gives that bit extra and it makes a huge difference. I think Klopp is right to praise a lot of what Rodgers did but it is clear why one is a world class manager and the other not."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I think you are underrating Klopp on the tactical side. Of course, Klopp has this charisma which comes naturally while Brendan sometimes tried to hard with this quotes. Brendan is a very good manager who will have a decent career but I think Klopp is atleast one level higher than Brendan and belongs in that elite category.Originally posted by dww View PostI've been thinking of late that in some ways the big difference between the time with Rodgers and Klopp is not so much tactical or technical but that Klopp brings the attitude and enthusiasm that Suarez did to the team. In the interview with NBCSports, Klopp was questioned about pressing and he was very clear that it is not a one size fits all tactic and will change depending on the opposition. He was very clear for example that they would have played very differently if we were playing Real Madrid.
I remember Brendan in his first season saying something along the lines of "If Plan A does not work, we will try to make it better or something to that effect".

Brendan Rodgers is the bookies’ favourite for Steve McClaren’s job, but Redknapp is also being considered
Brendan Rodgers is the bookies’ favourite for Steve McClaren’s job after the Magpies were stunned 5-1 by Crystal Palace, managed by former Toon boss Alan Pardew.
But Redknapp is also tipped to be the man to sort out the shambles with Newcastle having won just twice this season and fears that McClaren has lost the dressing room. What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Could be an interesting move for Rodgers. Newcastle fans will lap up the ‘great club’ **** from him and if he got them playing some decent attacking football, then he wouldn’t need to worry about wining anything or even sorting the defence as that doesn’t seem to matter much to Newcastle fans. They do have some decent attacking players too and have spent quite a bit of money, so he’d have to fancy his chances of getting them scoring a few goals. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was saying to a mate last night - what on earth did he ever do to deserve the LFC job in the first place?! What a shyster.....
He came bloody close to winning the damn thing though to give him credit
Anyway, onwards & KloppwardsWhat do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
