    Passing

    Creativity

    Goal Attempts

Granted these stats were released at the end of February, but it helps paint the picture. Chris has also highlighted the fact he was our third leading goalscorer and top of our assists table.

This has been Stevie's best season in 4 years, amazing when you consider that he turns 33 soon, I'd still prefer him to play further forward but that's just nitpicking really.

He's been brilliant this season, end of.

Phenomenal stats when you consider how deep he plays now.

Four years on and four years older, his passing improves in a deeper role - a role which restricts his forward movement - yet he still maintains a high (and the same) level of accuracy in his crossing and shooting, is *still* amongst the goals and *still* provides the assists.

Imagine if he could put in a performance like Pirlo did yesterday at the tender age of 33. But he doesnt really have the technical level to do that - does he?

I think its time to consider if LFC could spend his 130.000£ a week wages on something better.

I believe that he is done for as a footballer at 130K a week level. When was the last time we saw Stevie? 2008? Since then his level has been an overall embarrassment give or take a few matches considering where he came from and what he used to bring.

Not for us the last 3 years or for the National side either. I think he played a great game against Croatia in the qualifier where he really stood out but other than that I dont think he peaks often enough - if ever these days.

All I am saying is that the 2006 version is not available anymore and that the 130000£ a week could probably be used better than on a 32 year old Talisman that hasnt really delivered the gods for quite a while. Yes, the Everton game was good and a few other performances has been ok but in general.

I am aware that this is not a popular thing to say and I know I will probably get the and the

I dont mean to offend any of you - I just don't think he is that good anymore. Certainly not a player to build around these days. Injury prone and too old.

One thread is for the pre-2008 Stevie G, one of the best players in the world and easily worth £130k a week, and the other is for Gerrard, the waster whose best days are behind him and who is holding us back.

Please take more care in future.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

                            When do we want it?
