It hardly seems the ideal time,our best chance of top 4 for years,to be trying Gerrard in what is a vital position,especially given our already shaky back 4. He's been part of a pretty poor midfield defensively speaking for most of the season and we showed massive improvement in that regard when he wasn't in it.

He may well make that position his own but I'd rather have him nearer their goal than ours,his assists and goals could prove vital in the remaining months of the season.

I like that passing graphic as it confirms my preconceptions - only one of those missed passes goes to an opponent in a dangerous are and most of them are long balls into decent areas, some from potentially difficult positions.
