Bark nothing of note at your team-mates, in front of a camera, then, with phony spontaneity, pretend it's all a big secret. Gerrard, that.
Is that a haiku or something?

What a cocksucker and precisely the reason why I've never bothered with Twitter.

If I did I'd be wasting hours of every day arguing with people I would just loathe and ignore in every day life.

Still I hope he's been given plenty back.

        Gilly!!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I was just thinking of cricket after yesterday. Except I had Dhoni (Indian captain) in my mind. Quiet, unassuming, effective, but above all, admired.

Indian fans have often told me when he talks (and he talks quietly) no one makes a peep. They listen, digest and follow to the letter.

That's it, isn't it. That's the key. We're all working together as a team. We are the very essence of team this season and Gerrard is at the heart of all of it.

It does appear (from the outside looking in) that the club is in complete harmony at the moment, considering where we were only 18 months ago that is staggering. I can't remember the last time there were no dissenting voices. Credit to Rodgers.

Moses would dissent, if he could be arsed.

Just watched the huddle again. Yep got tears in my eyes again.

Arsed about the angry and bitter people taking the piss. Yes how dare he get the lads going, how dare Liverpool fans and players celebrate! You'd think a lot of these people don't celebrate any goals just in case they don't go on to win the game.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

What's even more annoying is that twunts think he got teary eyed because we won a match against City.

No you idiots, it was because of the occasion and the importance of the day. ****ing numpties.

And partially because he got a finger in the eye at the start of the huddle.

and as i've just said the man utd thread - some people are making out like he broke down on the floor in tears and was there for 15 mins, a complete mess

it's literally about 4 or 5 seconds of sheer joy/emotion before he clears his head and then rallies his teammates

it's inspirational - anyone taking the piss, deep down is jealous cause they know that's a top class captain and leader and they've never seen the like at their own clubs

in previous years when steve has had to run around plugging holes in our leaking team he was seen as something special, almost a machine.
now he is able to/has to allow his team mates to all do their duties. he can control and encourage but it is now down to the others to hold up their end.

at times in recent years we have had a few great individuals, some probably even better than we have playing for us right now, but we have finally become a unit, a much more complete team.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

TBF, he did pop up everywhere yesterday plugging holes. He nearly broke his neck cutting out one ball that was going nowhere, that most players would have just left. He was brilliant again.

Also one incident with Flanagan jostling with one of their players and Gerrard just stepped in like a brick wall completely stopping the City player in their tracks.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
