Isn't Twitter just a place where people attempt to tell you something before somebody else, regardless of whether it's fact or fiction? Tittle tattle for the masses.

Twitter is great. It's all about who you follow.

I don't do the whole Twitter thing, I prefer to just make transfer rumours up in my head and see how close I get at the end of the window.

Seems like he's gone back on his original pre World cup decision to retire, wants more time to decide. Young team who look up to him/good captain. No natural replacement for his position. I think he may stay on.

I hate to say it but unless Roy changes the England formation Stevie will hold that team back. They need to play like we do.

Alright, I know England didn't technically play a 4-4-2, but Hodgson is as stubborn, if he was ever going to change it would have been with us not now. Would love to see that diamond with the obvious personnel though. Apart from Centre Half, I really think England have the players to make it work.

Yup, the right formation with this set of players could have done ok at this world cup instead we've taken a formation and decided to fit our "best 11" into it regardless.

It's so obvious to most how we should have set up in the tournament with a back 4, Gerrard sitting deep, Henderson & Lallana/Barkley playing in front of him Sterling at the tip of the diamond with Sturridge and Rooney up top.
