He could do for us what Zidane does at Real.

Exactly. Or Vieira at City. Massive names - who do we have doing this just now? Ian Ayre - its not exactly inspiring. I hear his squeaky voice and get distracted.

that Gerrard shirt incident ffs, serving the club so long and that person is more arsed about making a few quid out of Gerrard than anything else, either thank the fella or get a Liverpool shirt to sign to stick on the wall

I was wondering what that whopper was doing with the shirt. He looked mighty pissed at one point. I dont have a problem with autographs. I've got one from Christopher Lee and I'll be dead before that goes anywhere near ebay. Besides he wrote my name too <3

You don't know he was after the shirt for the $ ffs, awfully presumptive.

He may want to hang it next to his LFC signed Gerrard shirt and just considers it easier to get now than when he has to fly to LA.

Understandable Gerrard didn't sign it, but still we're being awfully judgmental based on a guess.

Believe me there is NO way that the lad in question wanted it for that reason as there is no way he sells tickets outside the ground as a favour to the ticket office
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

Oh, he really is a tout, thought that was a joke. In that case not presumptuous, apologies.

I'm sorry but I'd much prefer the players to say the team let the fans down.

He's a bit thick the lad.

He's the best person to sell the club to potential signings - he's respected throughout the whole world of football. Can't help but think he'd be able to get the big names to sign on the dotted line - he'd be some asset that way.
He couldn't even do that whilst playing......

Top players come for the money and if that's a given from a number of clubs, they go where they can win.
