Even so, remember him charging back to make an important (& brilliant) tackle on the edge of our pen area on 90 mins.
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Don't feel bad, I'd have started Lallana and brought Gerrard on as an impact sub.
It's just nostalgia with him now, great, great player but we have more effective players in any position we put him in.
Hendo and Lucas are our best midfield pair, any 2 from Coutinho, Sterling and Lallana are more productive from open play in the double 10 roles.

Every chance of Sterling playing right hand side and Markovic being dropped when Sturridge is fit just to accommodate Gerrard in the team.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

An absolute ****ing insult that is considering how well he actually played last night, I really wonder sometimes what people actually watch.

It's just an opinion, one that I'm more than qualified football wise to give.
I think that Lallana, Sterling and Coutinho provide more goals and assists from the 10 roles in open play.
I think Hendo is a better centre midfielder and I think Lucas is a better defensive midfielder.

Simple as that, how many MoM poles does Gerrard feature in this season?
4 weeks ago no-one wanted him in the side, now the emotion comes into it and some see what isn't there.

Like I said, great, great player but imo we have more effective players for any position he's played in.

Over the 2 games Sterling, Coutinho and Gerrard played in our 3 most attacking roles.

Rank them in order of performance and impact over the 2 games?
          Gerrard comes bottom.

I agree that we have better options than him in all the midfield positions. But I also feel that he is still way better in the attacking role than any other position and that he could be a valuable squad member for this and next season.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Must say I enjoyed his needle last night, I was on my feet screaming at him to fill Costa in. He was *that close* to ****ting him. Would've been magnificent.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Me too, would love to have seen him punch him.

I think had it been a decade ago he probably would have.

So he will finish his LFC career playing less games than Carra. Who'd have thought
