He was very funny originally and to be fair it is a talent. But it does grate a bit these days. Harmless bit of fun though.

good today. what a goal that would have been, calmly passing the ball with the left foot into the corner [on to the ****ing post]. class.

maureen want to take him on loan.

When I see him today playing further forward, can't help feeling we've dropped a bollock letting him go. Ultimately though, if he didn't want to be a squad player and wanted to play regular 90 minutes its the right decision. Still has so much ability and desire. I think he should have had a couple of years in germany, Spain or Italy. He's far too good for the states. That long shot today, why has he hit so few in recent years? It was his trademark.

I'd love the option of bringing him off the bench. Such a shame he doesn't fancy it tbh.

**** off Tee. He's ****. Our worst player after Mario, obviously. Ask Fidget.

He picked the pass off the match and was probing all game. I wish he's stay. If we are working a shooting position I always hope the ball is going to find its way to him in space...

There was just a half hour doc on his career on Sky after the game. What a player he's been. That goal against West Ham is still ridiculous. As was said that ball drops to anyone else but Gerrard and West Ham win the cup.

He's a legend and he should be finishing his career at Anfield.

Was I alone in wanting him to be subbed? Thought Lallana should've come on for him.

Ran out of legs like most. He went as predicted. Got tired but had to keep him on as we needed a goal. It's a hell of an ask to expect him to keep going for 120mins.

would have been worth subbing him after 70-75 mins for lallana. has this been mentioned

towards the end of the match he was just blasting unrealistic 'passes' for poor sterling to vainly try and chase down.
