The slip did cost us the game. Without the slip they wouldn't have scored. I agree that Gerrard tried too hard afterwards, if we'd had any decent midfielders on the bench we could have subbed him. **** it anyway, City will drop points and we'll still win the league.

It demonstrably did. I feel awful for him, terrible mistake to make at the worst possible time. Surely fate can't be that cruel. I'm still one of those that believes there might be another twist in this tale yet though
