Yeah unfortunately that's no coincidence with that record. Sad to see, but we have moved on as a club.... we needed to as we've relied on that legend for well over a decade.
The Liverpool All-Star Charity Match, (dubbed by many as a second Steven Gerrard testimonial…), has been confirmed by the official website for March 29th at Anfield.
A Jamie Carragher XI will take on a Steven Gerrard XI, with all proceeds going to the Liverpool FC Foundation.
The game is featuring a host of world-renowned players including some former Anfield greats, and some of the Premier League’s finest ever participants…
Luis Suarez, Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina, Dirk Kuyt, Xabi Alonso, Thierry Henry, John Terry, Paul Konchesky and Didier Drogba are all confirmed, while the rest of the sides will be named in the coming weeks. Academy players and current first-team members will also make up the numbers, on what’s going to be a remarkable occasion for the club and fans alike

Having won every game he's not played in the league I think it supports the argument that he shouldn't have played so much during our first half of the season. We started too late phasing him out which hampered us and it generated negative feelings towards him.
