Ouch. That's not great. Suffice to say the whole team wasn't performing at the start of the season, $64,000 question is whether that is because of, or in spite of, Gerrard

I think I've made my opinion clear on the matter...

Yeah true enough. The system & position didn't suit him & both player and team seemed to deteriorate.

We may have moved on from Steven Gerrard but I doubt very much we'll ever see another like him

It has been an absolute privilege to have had him, and enjoyed watching him represent the club with such distinction. I know and accept he is leaving, but that day he leaves will still be one of the most gut wrenching days of my (sporting) life.

Be good to have him back in the squad. For example, playing at home, 2-0 up and Gerrard coming off the bench with 20 minutes to go - playing in an advanced role. It would certainly lift the crowd
                          Another MASSIVE game

                            I'd rather wait til we're 3-0 up

He's grown old, we've evolved. No one's to blame

as long as he never plays as a centre or defensive midfielder (those days are long gone) - we'll be fine.
