Question - as a future manager who would people prefer (or think would do a better job) out of:

Steven Gerrard
Xabi Alonso

I think Xabi would do a better job, as Rafa pointed out Gerrard is an emotional type player and you could tell when things go to him, sometimes this caused him to do great things, other times it caused him to get sent off. IMO the calmer more calculated style of Alonso is more suited to management.

I warned him. Liverpool isn’t a team that accepts black people unless they are English. It’s common knowledge. Gerrard has never liked black people. When I was at Liverpool, I showed him I was black, that I wasn’t English, but that I'm no pushover.

Often forgotten but that is right up there in recent history lfc mistakes.
Offering Anelka that **** a contract that he's bound to reject it, sign Diouf and place all the blame on sulky want-away Anelka.
