Don't forget that bad injury to Adam.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

So many of Kenny's Key Players missed 1/3 of the season.

Pepe also missed the last 4 games of the season. Doni

Yes, but he also replace Meireles with Adam, brought in Downing and spent 35m on Carroll. He also refused to play Maxi despite our obvious lack of goals and his unarguable quality and superior quality of Downing. Misused Kuyt hugely and with missing one player led us to relegation form for half a season.

So what your really saying is that he replaced quality with garbage, mis-managed the team and squad and had such a bad poor second half of the season...and despite not having the saviour that is 'Lucas' and 5 star players unavailable for a 1/3 of the season with a keeper that was gash, no confidence from the boardroom and inept PR director, 0 transfers in Jan Window, Saurez Saga, Bad Refeering Decisons and the Woodwork. He still managed to get to 8th in the table, win one cup and take them to another final. Thats some feat. Nicely put Matt.

                Practising for tabloid work there?
Kenny's tenure has done a hell of a lot of damage to our team sadly.

I don't think the damage is as sigfincant as It is made out to be. Time will tell and how/if Rodgers does use Kenny's signings over a long term period.

I rather everyone treat his tenure in the same light as they do with other managers.

Everyone uses the same sorried excuses for Rafa's tenure, when some of the excuses can be applied to Kenny's Tenure but they are rejected for him, whilst they use the same Rafa's excuses at the moment to Defend Rodgers tenure so far.

I have, sadly the money he has spent with done damage, we will never recoup that and we have gained nothing from it while leaving the squad weaker. Our form from the second half of the season was worse than anything I can remember.

Its not something that you can account for at this moment in time.

Yes the money spent was bad investments. At the time. I said it was the most expensive sunday league pub team being assembled. I got shot down for it.

Over time we shall see what figures Suarez, Coates, Enrique, Carroll, Doni & Downing etc all get sold for, you never know in one swoop we many re-coup the majority of it back from Selling Suarez. We got 4m back for Adam. Thats a start.

I don't think he left the squad weaker, in fact the majority of people said at the start of last season the squad was stronger. What transpired this summer with players leaving had nothing to do with Kenny's decision making. In effect others made the squad weaker.

I never shot you down, I took a **** load of abuse for daring to question the quality of transfers at the time.

The squad is weaker mate, I said last season it was being weakened.

We just need to add some better players around him for him to thrive in this part of his career.
The problem with Stevie is not that he didn't have a single great game but that he consistently have been playing below the level that we all got accustomed to see him, which imo is not enough for the club of our size.

I love Stevie but he is not the same player any longer and regardless if some want to admit it or not the age finally caught up with him and there is no cure for that.

The longer we continue to hope and expect him to be a player he once was the longer will take us to find the replacement we desparately need.

With that in mind, imo the difference between him and Lampard is that Lampard never relied on the burst of pace and accelaration as Stevie did at his prime so Lampard's decline hasn't been as abrupt as Stevie's.

Sure Stevie can change his role and play in different position, which is what he is doing now but than the question need to be posed if he warrants the starting job any more and I am not sure he does.

It wasn't Kennys management skills that let him down, it was his purchasing of players. Spend £20m on Downing and Kenny was hardly gonna drop him for Maxi. Add that to dropping Carroll and then also he should have dropped Hendo and Adam at points last season, he'd have looked a right prick.

He ****ed up and hoped his signings would come good. They didn't and that is why results were **** and why he got the sack.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
