If Gerrard misses the Norwich game I could see us losing by 6 or 7.

I agree. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take a pressure penalty for example. Suarez has missed a few for us, Sturridge missed his only one. There's nobody else I'd remotely fancy taking one.

Just thinking back to the Portsmouth game when he scored and mouthed "I'm the f*cking man!". Have to say I was a bit pissed off he did that but with hindsight he was clearly telling the truth haha.

I think you're all letting your emotions override rationality. If this, if that. We don't know until it's happened and while Gerrard is absolutely important to us, I think we'll cope IF he has to miss out.

i think it was vital he got through to the city game available.

if he was to pick up a booking he'd miss what norwich and then chelsea.

whilst not ideal i'd fancy us in those two games if we beat City without Gerrard should be he be suspended

1 - if the team beat city we'd be ****ing flying and there would be no stopping us.
2 - i think the players, after beating City would be a zillion times even more focused without gerrard as they'd want to a) win it for him and b) not be stuck with the tag of they bottled the league because they had no stevie g

Wonder how often he thinks of winning the title now. Is he like most fans with it constantly on his mind???

He's been awesome this season. It might even be his best ever season, particularly from a team perspective.
What's the tune to this ditty?

He is overrated, we will be fine.

his post match interview was great when asked about the second pen, shreeves (I think it was him) asked him whether there were some play antics from the west ham goalkeeper including pointing where he thought stevie should place it. Stevie smiled and said yes, and said something like "so I put it where he told me to"
