I've got a feeling he's gonna leave, no idea why really probably because if he was really staying a new contract could be sorted out within days with him.

It'll be annoying to look at his wiki and see "La Galaxy 2015 - 2017" or something years down the line though!

I don't want him to leave and go play for someone else
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Haha me neither, it will look ****ing ****, like when you sign Xavi on FM and it's Barca for 20 years then Barnet for 1 before he retires or something.

He's still got the quality to contribute too, City have been using Lampard pretty well for example. But it's hard to reduce his role or get him to agree to that when he's currently undroppable and plays every minute of every game!

He should definitely go to the MLS and live in the sun and cheer the **** up. I honestly believe he's a psychological weight on the other players now.

I don't really wan't him to leave either. But there is something really wrong with his head if he thinks he needs to be playing week in week out on this show of form.

Better to use him in bursts. Why can't he see that himself?

I'm sick and tired of this role he plays but I've noticed he's one of a handful of players that busts a gut to get back when we're being countered. I'm worried if he's not in the team, it could get even worse

He's also not as guilty as the rest of the side at ball watching.

Actually, going back to his role, his confidence on the ball has been shattered since the Chelsea slip. He doesn't want to take any minimal risks. The amount of space he sometimes had in midfield today to drive into but would instead pass it back defence. It's the sort of football you should play when you're winning 4 or 5 nil ffs

So to sum up, he's currently **** on the ball but he's our best player off it

I said it a few weeks ago, this is his last season. I can't see him taking a big wage cut and theres no way we can keep paying him £150k per week.

He's not helped by the fact that Brendan won't put a proper defensive mid next to him in midfield, **** knows why Emre Can isn't starting every game

But similar to the comments above, I think he will head off to play in the US or Italy. I hope its one of the big Italian clubs

Fair enough, but the technical error was worse than the actual slip. Just funny that everybody keeps referring to the slip when it was the "ball under the foot" that was the worse part of that incident. Poor guy... It will haunt him forever.

He's finished as a 90 minute player or even a guaranteed starter. I don't think Rodgers has the balls to do anything about it though

I'm just going to say it again in case it gets lost in all the posts but he's one of only a few players who has a look round and is not constantly ball watching. We're so bad at getting attracted to the ball when defending (it's actually amateurish), so for that reason alone, I would keep him in the side.

                              Dear Mr Rodgers,

Please stop all this silliness and move me, your most creative player, up the field. I've always been sloppy in possession and you're asking for trouble giving me defensive responsibilities as I have always been at my most effective doing what I want. You will find that if I have freedom to roam, I'll be your most dynamic player at both ends of the pitch, just don't tie me down

It's getting to the point where my legacy is in jeodardy and that's ****ing unfair

                              Yours

An invisible captain at present. His head was the first to go yesterday. He's a captain who inspires through his performances on the pitch. Now that element of his game is fading, so is his captain's influence.

Sadly I think we are bereft of natural leaders in the squad. Henderson is not a natural captain for me either, but there's no-one else obvious out there to take his place.

Considering Rodgers has often told us he was signing winners and leaders we have an awful lot of weak minded individuals in the team.
