Ever been? I’ve been here 2 years, the Saudi people are open, generous and spectacularly more open minded than your comments lead me to believe that you are.

The change here in just these two years are immense, and it is not slowing down. My wife feels safe around town in her western clothing and segregation of the sexes is dying. She’s been told “thank you” for going out dressed as a western woman by the Saudi women who serve her in shops etc.

I can’t deny that it is not a perfect country but the archaic view that is portrayed in our (UK) press is not reflected in day to day life out here.

I’ll happily answer serious questions in another thread if people are genuinely interested in what it is like living and working here.

Now if we could just sort out some bacon and beer….

Whilst Gerrard no doubt has nothing at all to do with the criminal side of things, he most certainly associates with many high profile members. A lot of his pals are some of the worst of the worst in Irish crime circles, the same scumbag criminals that are involved heavily in the Middle East and some with properties in Liverpool and on the Wirral.

When in Ireland he regularly hangs around in public with Nathan Littles who is a fixer/enforcer for the Kinahans and Byrnes.

His social media has loads of pics of him with various gang members, going around Dublin inside their cars, then at Gerrard's house, him at their houses, and him getting days out at Anfield and at Villa Park for various associates of the Kinihans and Byrnes.


The one thing that is certain is he keeps very bad company (Conor McGregor is another that regularly gets pics taken of him out with cartel members) and he cannot plead ignorance to who they are and what they do Kinahan when he daughter is going out with the son of Liam Byrnes for years now.

Gerrard coming pretty close to tarnishing his legacy at Liverpool with this move. I think less of him for his post Rangers career, so lets see how he plays out.

Yeah he has, but unlike the people Gerrard gets photographed with, and that he engages with constantly going by what he himself puts up online and, Lee Byrnes to date has no criminal convictions at all be it in the UK or Ireland.

But no doubt the reason he got a chance to be in such close quarters with Henderson was thanks to his dad having such close ties with Gerrard.



The guys Gerard hangs out with are all at the high end of the crime gang. A number of times this year Gerrard has been seen going around Dublin with some really nasty people and he puts up pictures of himself all smiles in cars with them and what not.

Not a chance he can plead ignorance as to who is has been hanging out with for years. They are far too high profile here in Ireland and in Dubai for him not to know.

What is very eye catching, well for me as an Irish guy, is how many cartel guys, whose faces you are used to seeing on the news in Ireland, that you see just wandering around in Liverpool city centre. I know a few have homes in some of the nicer parts of Formby and the Wirral, but there are ones that are known to be Dublin based that are in Liverpool an awful lot and it is quite common to see them on match day heading for the entrances to where you go to get to the executive boxes in the KD stand.

I'm sure the club must be delighted to have that type taking selfies around and inside Anfield and a club legend hanging with them.

The Kinahans and Byrnes have been an absolute blight when it comes to Irish boxing and Irish MMA, not to mention the bigger issue with their impact on the drug trade and the selling of weapons on a global level.


Hell of a lot of murders, shooting, beatings, drug dealing, arms dealing, money laundering and indirect deaths because of those guys. And is not like they are a Dublin problem or an Irish problem, they work on an International level.

Steven Gerrard: Ex-Liverpool midfielder named manager of Saudi Pro League Al-Ettifaq

Former England and Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard has been named manager of Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.

The 43-year-old had said in June he had been invited over to the country to "look at a potential offer" but that he would not be taking it up.

Gerrard has been out of work since being sacked as Aston Villa manager in October last year.

Al-Ettifaq were seventh in the 16-team Saudi Pro League last season, finishing 35 points behind champions Al-Ittihad.

The Saudi club have not given any details about the length of Gerrard's contract.
