Nothing can be done as long as the English media licks Fergie's arse. They will defend him and defend him and then defend him a bit more.Originally posted by Bender View PostSo basically as you said the ref cost us the title !Then am sure you'll do something about it .....Now what's your plan?Stop the cyberhate

Hmm, in hindsight, it was a stupid comment. Nonethless, I was heavily inebriated at the time and meant, that in the time Rafa was in charge, Arsenal won 1 trophy so were hardly a successful club. You are right though, you do post some crap, the regularity of which would suggest it's not always alcohol inducedOriginally posted by Arn View PostIf you don't think that Arsenal are a big club then I and almost every other football fan out there will laugh our heads off at you. I post some crap things put this comment by you take the prize. Congratulations
Arsenal earn something like £2m more than us at every home game. They have one of the best youth team programs out there and that is a key point in today's football. They have a big stadium that is sold out almost every game.
The best players out there see Arsenal as an option because they are a big club that play in the CL every season and the style of football they play.
Right now Arsenal are a bigger club than us. Our history of success is better but they are right now a bigger club than us.
Arsenal not a big club
x a million.

I dont think you can be going around saying stuff like that without proof. All your basing it on is a few decisions that were questionable. That proves nothing other than the standard of reffing needs to be improved.Originally posted by Arn View PostScum away to Spurs that season........strange penalty, wasn't it........
I never said anything about us expected it to win it. I only pointed out that the English game is corrupt.
The way to do this would be to mix in a few European ref's. Yes managers can put pressure on them, Wenger, Fregie and Rafa were some of the best at that. Doesnt mean there all taking a bung to make Utd win the league.*Except Michael, who died.

It's probably on BBC i player, it often is.
Missed it myself, will give iplayer a go.
Dixon is quite innocuous generally isn't he? Almost sensible even. Not massively insightful but he's never really said anything that's wound me up that I can recall.Like blood on iron

It isn't about decisions taken on the pitch. When a manager is allowed to visit the referees in their dressing room after the first half and the FA know what happens and do nothing about it then the game is corrupt.Originally posted by Alex View PostI dont think you can be going around saying stuff like that without proof. The game is corrupt, period. You can't come out and defend the FA in cases like this. The only thing you can say is that the game is corrupt.Stop the cyberhate

I wish that Rafa would hand over the evidence he said he has and give it to the media so something gets done about it.
Rafa isn't acting in the best interest of the game when he isn't giving out the evidence. If he really wanted something to get done about it, then throw the first stone so something gets done about all the corruption.
Be man enough to do that. The FA really can't suspend him or take him to court if he got clear cut evidence.Stop the cyberhate

That's fair enough.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
