Nigel's was certainly a stupid comment and he doesn't even drink.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I never said anything about us expected it to win it. I only pointed out that the English game is corrupt.
Sure is, how to **** did McCarthy get away with blatantly headbutting Rooney's elbow on Saturday? Rooney probably has a wee bruise now or even a plaster that will stick to the hairs when the club doctor has to take it off.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I don't think the league is actually corrupt but the FA have always looked after the big players - Alan Shearer used to get away with murder, elbows here there and everywhere, kicking players in the face - always got away with it.

Some players it seems are too big to be punished properly

Corrupt is probably a bit strong, but it certainly isn't a level playing field.

I thought Gerrard was 'too big' to get sent off for his first tackle against United and was also surprised to see the penalty given so early, but I underestimated Webb again.

Since Rooney has come back from his last injury he's hacked at least about 10 players, not even in the heat of the moment, chases them down and you know exactly what's gonna happen, but goes unpunished. 'Respect the Ref' campaign? Suck my balls, even a partially blind man can lip read Rooney as he's at it for 90 minutes. I'll not even start on the Neville tackle.

Rafa could takeover Spain and Barca at this very moment. Balls everything up completely and posters will still defend him and say it was not his fault

Dave Whelan has gone mad about Rooney not getting punished, and that big clubs and players intimidate the FA. He could have a point, rooney should have definately have been punished, not a good role model for kids and it does seem bigger clubs are bigger than the league and the FA.

roman has to put the feelers out for rafa. the times we took the piss out of his chelsea side in the CL and got to 2 finals with a comparatively poor team. Add to that the the style of football we pulled off at rafa's peak. prem experience

                          Anyone listening to Talksport?
Was that a sly dig at Rafa? from that cunt danny kelly and the cunt who doesn't support us anymore because his son wasn't good enough to play for us.

Did they say he wasn't brilliant and point out a few flaws?, of which there was many.

I can't see Rafa going to Chelsea. Surely he can't do that.

                                Man City I reckon.

Mancini isn't pulling up trees, excellent squad, and Rafa can commute from the Wirral.
